Christopher Jones attended Pine Bluff from Watson Chapel High School for his education. As his parents are not well off so he attended Morehouse College on a NASA scholarship.

He graduated Bachelor of Science in mathematics and a Bachelor of Science in physics. He is brilliant in studies as well as the body president at Morehouse College. During their studies, he always works as an intern at NASA every summer holiday.

He graduated with a Master of Science in Nuclear Engineering in 2003 and attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology as a graduate student. The thesis of this great student was titled Nonproliferation Issues in the nuclear energy future. He was also a co-chair of the Black Graduate Student Association.

At the beginning of his career, he first worked as an algebra teacher at Boston Public School. Then, he worked as an assistant Dean for graduated students at MIT. This job period was too long from 20 Sep 2004 to April 2013.

When Christopher was working there, the graduate students’ applications are too much and enrolments went double from before. That is enough to show his hard work.

In May 2013, he got hired by Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative as an executive doctor. It was a public charity organization which doesn’t focus on making money. Instead, their goal was to improve the damage to Boston’s poorest areas.

While working as an executive doctor, he also became Vice President on the board as well as volunteered for the organization. He also got appointed to the “Neighborhood Innovation District Committee” which has a plan to improve and work on economic development.

Because of a consultant Firm (BCT Partners), Christopher M Jones left Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative in 2015 gave him millions of dollars in projects on which Christopher work as a main lead.

Further in 2018, he got hired as executive director and lead maker at Arkansas Regional Innovation Hub, and in 2020, he committed to a partnership with Scenic Hill Solar to create a solar power plant.

At the beginning of the pandemic, the Innovation Hub team launched the Arkansas Maker Task Force which include over 260 Arkansas Makers who helped to make PPE kits for safety.

In 2021, they planned to increase their firm with two Fortune 500 companies to outreach in central Arkansas. The partners for this project include MIT Media Lab, Gilead Sciences, lnc, Best Buys, and North Little Rock School District.

At that time Christopher M jones was leading the innovation hub so they also launched a few more programs including Hub on Wheels and Mobile Makerspace program and a forthcoming afterschool club house for students.

Jones was also appointed by Governor Asa Hutchinson from March 2020 to January 2022 to the Board of Directors of the Divison of Science and technology of Arkansas Economic Development Commission.
